I am officially sock yarn free. I almost don't know what to do with myself. I am just happy to have completed at least one New Year's Resolution; even if it was one from last year. To date I have knit 23 long wool socks and 24 cotton shorties. Of course this number doesn't include socks I have made as gifts or the first 7 pairs I made in college in pure alpaca, which developed holes within the first week. In total I guestimate I have knit at least 60 pairs of socks in my lifetime. And don't despair, I am not done with socks. I just need a breather.
Yes, this really is my sock drawer; I have a separate one for non hand knit socks.
I wish I had a sock drawer like that! : )
