Spontaneity-In Search of Sunshine

Last week, was riddled with a slew of spontaneous moments.  Last minute run ins with good friends resulted in a more than usual increase in happy hours, dinners and movies.  The grand finale, of course, resulting in a very last minute trip in search of sunshine.  The weather in the past two weeks has been less than glorious.  Sick of clouds, rain and even snow; my dear pal Danielle and I booked our adventure to Phoenix last Thursday on line.  In less than 24 hours we were poolside, sipping champagne, stocking up on vitamin D, enjoying our freshly painted tootsies (it has been a while since my feet have touched anything besides the inside of a hand knit sock) and knitting, naturally.  Luckily we seem to have avoided some nasty spring weather.  This week is looking up and I am too.
