Lavender, in my garden, is blooming with abundance. I have been harvesting little bouquets every day for the past week. As each stalk dries and fades into a dusty periwinkle, I gather the fragrant buds to use later in potpourri. The scent permeates throughout the rooms; a lovely summer reminder.
